It’s well known that ARK invests Cathie Wood is among one of the most bullish institutional investors on Bitcoin, Ethereum and the entire cryptocurrency sector.

This past weekend, Cathie hosted an entire cryptocurrency panel alongside other analysts such as Yassine Elmandjra and macro Economist Lyn Alden to give their updated outlook on the space.

Within the panel, Cathie Wood addressed the topic of regulation and its impact on the cryptocurrency market. Despite some politicians and regulators using events like the FTX collapse to further their anti-crypto agenda, Cathie pointed out that Bitcoin and Ethereum remained resilient throughout the chaos.

Cathie also highlighted that the newest member of the SEC recognizes the importance of decentralization, transparency, and auditability. This is in contrast to centralized institutions like FTX that went down during the crisis.

With regional banks going bankrupt and digital assets becoming more commonplace, Wood sees this as a loud message that traditional banking is becoming obsolete and bodes well for crypto long-term.
