This video articulates the gist of the following: Mental health plays a key role in psychological addiction. How to beat addiction you may ask? Focus on your mental health. Manifest the good thoughts, shoot down the bad thoughts. Overcoming addiction is a struggle that many face in many forms. Too much of anything is bad. Don't fall in the cycle of addiction & dependency. This can be opioid addiction, cocaine addiction, weed addiction, alcohol addiction, drug addiction, food addiction, video game addiction, porn addiction, nicotine addiction, sugar addiction, phone addiction, sex addiction, cigarette addiction, etc. You may even ask: Why is my son addicted to video games? Well its because of the dopamine that it releases which makes us want more and more. How to stop a drug addiction? How to quit drugs? What is the cause of my drug addiction? Stop doing the drug AND focus on your mental space. Don't waste your life away mindlessly doing drugs. Furthermore, rehab only works if YOU want to get better, not if someone else forces you. Should you go to rehab? Ask yourself that and see if YOU want to, or if you feel like you have to. Addictions and addictive substances are just bad habits (like biting your nails). Our brain stops developing around age 25, so getting a bad habit or addiction younger than that can cause worse problems. Stop your addiction today. If you need help, there is treatment out there. Detox to rehab to being clean! People tend to relapse when they are forced, but if YOU want help, then get help! Dont let your mind control you, you must be in control of your mind. Will power gets you far if you believe in yourself. What is addiction? A bad habit. There are many TEDTalks explaining this. Teenage addiction can be the worst. Their brain is still developing. Dont watch any music video about promoting addiction to drugs either. There are many steps & strategies to beating addiction. You must find the one that works best for you. Mind over matter! Sadhguru, JRE (Joe Rogan Experience), Jordan Peterson, Shawn Kinsbury, Dr Adi Jaffe, Dr. Drew, Joey Diaz, Steve-O, Russell Brand, Daniel Ally, Naval Ravikant, Louis Theroux, Judson Brewer, Andrew Becker, Tony Robbins all are great influences in explaining how to fight addictive tendencies.
