WILD CHASE: Human Smugglers Lead Texas Troopers On High-Speed Pursuit

This is the dramatic moment two human smugglers are seized after leading police on a high-speed chase and allowing nearly a dozen of illegal immigrants to escape.

Dash-cam and body-worn footage shows the drama unfolding on a road in Kinney County, in Texas State - near the US-Mexican border - on 10th April.

Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) were led on a wild pursuit after the driver sped off from an attempted traffic stop.

During the pursuit, the driver allowed eight to 11 illegal immigrants to bail out and evade capture by running towards the brush.

The driver and passenger, of Gonzalez, Texas, were eventually stopped and arrested.

Both were reportedly charged with human smuggling and evading arrest.
