Phra Nang Cave Beach - Krabi Thailand

Phra Nang Cave Beach is a beautiful beach located on the Railay peninsula between Krabi town and Ao Nang. It is the most southern stretch of sand in Railay Bay with 450 meters in length and surrounded by deep emerald green turquoise water. The beach is easily recognizable by the imposing limestone rock sitting in the middle of the ocean. The beach is also home to Phra Nang Cave which has been dedicated to a princess goddess named Phra Nang. According to legend, Phra Nang was an Indian princess who was killed in a shipwreck. In another tale, Phra Nang was the wife of a fisherman who was lost at sea. Phra Nang Cave Beach is a popular tourist destination and attracts many visitors both Thai and foreigners during the daytime.
