I ran ran across the Apple Green in Ray Bergman's book - Trout (page 424, plate #1) and was immediately attracted to it. I like these flies that incorporate floss for the ribbing. The deep green and bright yellow seemed like a very interesting combination. I tied the fly in the video on a little smaller hook as I think it will work well for trout this summer. I think this will represent a green cased caddis very well. All in all, a fun fly to tie. - - Enjoy
