Hi!

My name is Chuck Townsend and I have been a Public Insurance Adjuster
Apprentice with InsuranceBusters.net since a week before Hurricane Ian. I am a medically retired Combat Veteran with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. I wanted to continue to serve my country and this is one of the best ways I found to do so. One of the many task I've been assigned is to help facilitate the feeding and logistical operations which IBN does on every storm they work.

While we were on our way from Texas to Florida a few days prior to the
landfall of Hurricane Ian, we weren't exactly sure where we were going to
setup our feeding operation. We knew we needed enough space to feed the the thousands of people affected. I immediately thought of my fellow Veteran's and wanted to make sure they weren't forgot about during the recovery efforts. I called the President of the American Legion Post 110, Jay Hemingway to see if they could facilitate our operation and get the message out to Vets that help was on the way. Within a few hours with the assistance of the American Legion commanders and staff we were able to put together a a very large feeding site, call on other Public Insurance Adjuster firms, Attorneys, and volunteers from all over the United States.

It was amazing to see so many members of the Industry come together in
such a short period of time. After a few days of feeding the public, we even
had members of the community that lost everything they owned volunteer to
help feed their fellow Community members. Even though we couldn't accept
donations from the community it was touching to see them bring their own
food from home to help their community. To date we have fed over 60,000 hot meals to Hurricane Ian Victims / Shelters/ Churches/ and that needed a hot meal and continue to make an impact. The great thing about our operation is it gives the Policy Holder a place to speak with an Public Insurance Advocate and a shoulder to cry on if need be.
