The North Dakota Legislature has recently passed a law mandating public schools to teach their students about the developmental process of a fetus as a part of their sex education curriculum. This law also requires the screening of a short educational video for middle and high school students that explains the various aspects of an unborn baby's growth, such as the brain, heart, and vital organs during the early stages of pregnancy. State Sen. Janne Myrdal, R-Edinburg, the lead sponsor of the bill, has suggested the "Baby Olivia" animated video by Live Action as one of the options for the curriculum. The video provides a remarkable overview of the development of an unborn baby.
