Diabetes is a chronic condition that affects how your body processes blood sugar (glucose), which is your body's primary source of energy. There are two main types of diabetes: type 1 and type 2. Both types share some common symptoms, including:

Frequent urination: When you have diabetes, your kidneys work overtime to filter and absorb excess glucose from your blood. This can lead to frequent urination, especially at night.

Increased thirst: As a result of frequent urination, you may become dehydrated and feel thirsty more often than usual.

Fatigue: Diabetes can make you feel tired and run down, even if you're getting enough rest.

Blurred vision: High blood sugar levels can cause the lens in your eye to swell, leading to blurred vision.

Slow healing of wounds: High blood sugar levels can slow down the healing process, making it harder for your body to recover from injuries and infections.

Tingling, numbness or pain in the hands and feet: High blood sugar levels can damage the nerves in your extremities, leading to tingling, numbness or pain.

Unexplained weight loss: If you have type 1 diabetes, your body may not be able to use glucose for energy, so it starts burning fat and muscle instead, leading to weight loss.

Increased hunger: If you have type 2 diabetes, your body may not be able to use insulin effectively, leading to high blood sugar levels and increased hunger.

If you're experiencing any of these symptoms, it's important to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment.
