Thailand Songkran festival 2023

Thai new year, which falls on April 13th to 15th every year. The festival is also known as the "water festival" as it involves throwing water on each other as a symbol of purification and renewal. People also visit temples, make offerings, and sprinkle water on Buddha statues during the festival. Songkran is a time for family gatherings, feasting, and paying respect to elders and ancestors.
