He was arrested numerous times for drug possession and selling crack cocaine. In 1994, he was shot nine times in an attempted murder. After surviving this attack, 50 Cent turned his life around and decided to pursue his dream of becoming a rapper. The Get Rich or Die Tryin album was a complete SUCCESS.
