So I am doing the lawyer thing for my girlfriend bc she got a DUI for being prescribed opiate mainatainence medication, suboxone. She hadn't even taken her meds that day as she was sick with her chronic stomach issues. In addition it doesn't cause nodding, which is the accusation, that she was so intoxicated her heart rate was low. They got that because they took her to a county 1 hour away to do the test at state police the. After driving her back, after 3 hours of crying and being sick and exhausted, as she was sick before she left to go pick up her nephew that day, it happened as she left the school, so after all that time and trauma in the car, she fell asleep driving back to Cumberland in police cruiser. They took her heart rate sitting in the cruiser when she woke up, as evidence her heart rate was low. . . No shit it was, she just woke up.
So I went to find out if they had body cam for us to FOIA, nope nothing..... and the sherrifs gave me the same run around.
