Why was the military near the White House today?

Friday in D.C. and I just (I mean just barely) caught Marine Two taking Kamala Harris away for the weekend. I then ran over to the World Bank where a few more protests were going on, before heading off to the White House and the National Mall, where I found the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and even the Coast Guard out for a parade. They were joined by the Army Fife and Drum Corps and a canon, which was kind of cool. Take a look.
