My Autism Is Not You!

You don’t look Autistic?

Oh my word if I have a dollar for everyone someone said to me: you don’t look Autistic or you are not life my friend’s kid who has autism. I’d be rich

That is correct though I am not like any autistic person you probably know, and this is because autism is a non personality type neurodevelopment disorder.

This means that there are millions of Autistic people who exist but they are all individually different.

Yes inherently autistic people will have similar issues like social, communication and sensory issues.

But everyone on earth is individual and this goes for autistic people to!

It is really disrespectful to analyse someone’s condition from your opinion when you are not even a licensed professional in this area.
