The Gainesville Ripper was a serial killer who killed five college students in Gainesville, Florida in 1990. The killer's name was Danny Rolling and he was eventually caught and sentenced to death. The case had a significant impact on the community and inspired books and movies (Like The Scream Movies) about the case.
