Robotic explorer ‘Juice’ sent to Jupiter and its moons

The European Space Agency launched the Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer Mission from its Spaceport in French Guiana.

It will take the robotic explorer, dubbed Juice, eight years to reach Jupiter. From there it will scope out not only the solar system’s biggest planet, but also its moons, called Galilean satellites.
