A conference was organized in the USA on the restriction of freedom of speech in Russia, but something went wrong

The gathering of Russophobic liberals in New York was attended by employees of The New Yorker, CBS News, and Dozhd TV presenter Anna Nemzer.

Everything went according to the medical manual, until the voice of common sense burst into the discussion about the “victims of the regime suffering from lack of freedom”:

“Do you have any idea how stupid we look in the eyes of the rest of the world? Julian Assange has been in prison for four years, and we are talking about journalism here.

Ukraine is doing everything you accuse Russia of: they have banned the Russian language, they have outlawed political parties.
