House Construction Early Stage for Roof Building

We are doing the first phase of roof installation of the residential project in Monteritz in Ma-a, Davao City. In this video, we are installing the girt beam, steel column, beam support, rafters and purlins. The second part of the video shows the completion of the septik tank.

General Construction Term

girt - A Girt is a horizontal structural member in a framed wall that provides lateral support to the wall panel, primarily to resist wind loads.

rafter - A type of beam, a heavy supportive board that holds up whatever is above it in a building.

purlins - A horizontal beam or bar used for structural support in structures, most often below the roof.
