Mother's Ghost Protecting Her Son ?

In 1994, Christine Skubish and 3-year-old son Nick, were traveling on Highway 50 towards Carson City, but never arrived causing concern among family members who then contacted the police. Despite search efforts, they were nowhere to be found.

Days later, Deborah Hoyt spotted a mysterious figure while driving on Highway 50, that appeared to be a naked woman, but upon stopping to investigate, found nothing.

The following day, police discovered Christine's car not far from where Deborah Hoyt had reported seeing the phantom figure on the side of the road. Tragically, Christine was found d3ad, while her son Nick was miraculously still alive beside her, despite no food or water for 5 days.

Nick still claims that his mother had taken care of him during the time they were missing. However, forensics report that Christine had died instantly in the crash. One theory is that the phantom figure seen by Deborah Hoyt was Christine's ghost attempting to protect her son and guide rescuers to their location.
