Was planning on doing this in 2023, but felt like making it today, It's pretty short, so I'll have 2 TiHYDPs this week. Friday is TiHYDP Gears 3 Hoard Mode. I had trouble getting this game footage to work with Vegas Pro for some reason, even though other DSP footage has no problems (Besides Monkey Ball which also has framerate issues). Going to Digital Foundry, this game has inconsistent 60fps on Xbox Series X (& PS5) & vegas doesn't like that, so my solution was just redownload the playthrough in 30fps (I just downloaded in 360p because I was impatient) then replace them with 1080p60 source when I was done.
So I thought this game uses the aspect ratio of 2:35:1 (1920x817) but Digital Foundry says it is 3840x1602 (1920x801 in 1080p) on Xbox & PS5, so I just went with 2:40:1 (1920x 800) to avoid tiny black bars in 2:35:1 with very slight unnoticeable cropping (and I wanted to use an established aspect ratio format & YouTube supports both 2:35 & 2:40 which is nice, but no end screen support that way). I was going to crop the whore board anyways, so that's nice. I also made Phil's webcam black and White to match the gameplay because Phil didn't do that and it fits the gameplay much better.
So anyways, Phil plays this on Xbox Gamepass because fREEEE for REEEE, and gets salty when he dies. I like to do a proper full TiHYDP of this in 2023, but there's a lot of boring stuff I have to sift through and I'm not sure if it's worth it. Death montages are super easy & fast (barring vegas pro technical problems) to make. There's a lot of bugged parry mechanics I cut out since DSP didn't die from them which are funny, so leave a comment if you be interested in a proper 90 minute TiHYDP of this in 2023. Thanks.
