The showbread was an offering from the people to God, and it also represented Christ and our communion with God. The Golden Altar of Incense represented our prayers ascending to God. From the start, God gave His servants the opportunity to participate and to have fellowship with Him. Both the Table of Showbread and Golden Altar represent communion with God.
