Morning Readings-The Sacrament of Holy Unction 7 Gospels- Healing of soul & body forgiveness of Sins

Welcome back. Great is His faithfulness

Note- The Sacrament of Holy Unction is for healing of our souls and bodies and the forgiveness of sins. There are seven Epistle readings and seven Gospel resdings, for time purposes I read the seven Gospels. The purpose of the Church is for healing and for the forgiveness of sins reconciling our fallen state back to God.
Greek Word of the day- †Κολοσσαί Kolossaí, kol-os-sah'-ee; apparently feminine plural of kolossos ("colossal"); Colossæ, a place in Asia Minor:—Colosse.
Colossians 1:2

First Gospel Reading Luke 10:25-37- The Good Samaritan

THE SAMARITAN, who was considered to be a despised foreigner. Is seen as an image of Christ (John 8:48), For He "came down from heaven" (Creed) to even save those in rebellion against Him. The beaten man is all of humanity who is beaten down by life's trials and tribulations, and Jesus is the cure that saves us from spiritual death.

Luke 19:1-10 - Zaccaheaus is Restored

St Ambrose of Milan sees several parallels- Zaccaheaus being short in indicating him being short of faith and virtue- Zaccaheaus from ascend a tree shows no one attached to earthly matters can see Jesus - the Lord intending to pass that way reveals Christ Will approach anyone who is willing to repent and believe.

Matthew 10:1; 5-8- Mission and Instructions

Matthew 8:14-23 - Power over all Infirmities

Matthew 25:1-3 - We Must be prepared and spiritually prepared

Matthew 15:21-28- A Gentile with Great Faith

Matthew 9:9-13- Sinners Recevied

Hosea 6:6
For I desire mercy[a] and not sacrifice,

And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

Our Lord does not reject worship, but instead He criticizes the way Israel perceives it. They did it see it as entering into a relationship with God or to even foster community ties, instead worship became a goal in itself. This telling us not go through the motions and that our ascetic practices and even our sacraments can't saves us if our hearts are not right with God.

These readings are for healing pm salvation and forgiveness of sins. Please take the time and just listen to what God is trying to tell us. There is always a specific message for us all, "those who have ears let them hear."

“The Lord bless you and keep you;

25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,

And be gracious to you;

26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,

And give you peace.” ’
