1989 Dover Hydraulic Elevators with Adam Buttons at ASU Peacock Building (Boone, NC)

Welcome to Appalachian State University, a college that is a huge ass city and generally impossible to film every elevator here without coming back multiple times. I got a total of 11 elevators during my visit in August while helping a friend move into their dorm.

Ignoring the brain fart I had in the video, these are Dovers with Adams Survivor Plus Button Replacements. These were likely Traditionally Borings at one point and then had all their buttons replaced later down the road. These are pretty beat up and don't run good either. Why are Traditional Oildraulics so damn hit or miss with the ride quality compared to Impulse Oildraulics, in which most Impulse variants run perfectly fine???
