LEADERS KNOW THINGS ABOUT THOSE THEY LEAD WHICH ONE MIGHT CALL SECRETS. IS THAT GOOD?

“It might seem like an invasion of privacy, a campaign to play gotcha, a game of leverage and consequences but it doesn’t have to be. A leader should be diligent about the business of reading people. Adding masterful skill to natural gifting is a critical responsibility of good leadership. Leaders perceive what was never spoken because they have trained themselves to spot the hidden things. Team members who feel like a leader is reading their mail so to speak, should simply be asking the question: ‘what is the intent of leadership?’ Leaders must be judicious and respectful in the application of knowledge gleaned not malicious and vengeful. Good leaders apply compassion and wisdom to insight for a win-win in the whole team.” J Loren Norris
