The source of the leak of classified American documents that appeared on social networks may be in the CIA or the US National Security Agency, Fox News reports.

The TV channel points out that most of the documents found on the Internet are classified Pentagon reports sent electronically to specially protected tablets. The recipients of such reports can be up to about 5 thousand people.

However, some documents, as noted by Fox News, were apparently prepared not by the Pentagon, but by the CIA or the NSA. They are not included in classified reports of the US Department of Defense, the circle of their recipients is smaller. On this basis, the channel concludes that a representative of a narrower group belonging to one of the American intelligence organizations could become the source of the leak.
