Bruce S. Bertram of The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com ponders one of the big reasons that people (Christians and non-Christians) reject God's Law. The natural man, by definition, is not a spiritual man. To whatever extent we are still natural, that is what governs our rejections of His living oracles. Like the ten but not the others? Partiality is a "natural" response to God. Like to weasel out by claiming you were "born that way?" Obviously a "whole natural" response to God.

His Word is life, light, a lamp, wisdom, commands, statutes, laws, instructions, and truth. All good words apply to The Word. It doesn't make sense that these things would be rejected, but the natural man does not make very much sense. Why? Because he rejects the rulership of the King of Kings. Our pride keeps us from many good and spiritual things.
