The Lord is my light and my salvation —

The Lord is the stronghold of my life —

2When evildoers came against me to devour my flesh,Ps 14:4
my foes and my enemies stumbled and fell.Ps 9:3
3Though an army deploys against me,

though a war breaks out against me,

4I have asked one thing from the Lord;
it is what I desire:
to dwell in the house of the Lord

So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and in difficulties, for the sake of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
