Mainstream media outlets sue for access to Jan. 6th, 2021 Capitol Hill surveillance footage

Nine national media organizations, including CNN, are suing for access to Capitol Hill surveillance tapes of January 6, 2021, that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy formerly provided to Fox News TV host, Tucker Carlson. Allegedly, no other press outlets have been able to retrieve access to the footage. Apparently, the lawsuit, filed in the federal court in D.C. against the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Offices at the Justice Department, argues all media corporations and personnel should be granted access to all 44,000 hours of these exclusive tapes because the film files have already been released to producers at FOX, according to CNN.
