Love languages describe methods through which we communicate and understand love.
Start by learning your own love language and using it to show love and compassion to yourself
Most people use their own love languages when communicating with others
It is important to communicate with others using THEIR love language
You wouldn’t expect someone who only speaks Spanish to understand when you talk to them in English.
Love languages are also somewhat variable (like dialects), so it is important to define what the terms mean
