Gaines, an athlete who famously competed against Lia Thomas, gave a speech on fairness in sports, but what started as a peaceful event turned violent when a trans protester punched her in the face. She was then chased down by a screaming mob who trapped her in a room for hours and claimed she couldn't leave until they were given money. We discuss why violent events like this tend to stem from trans hatred of women and how there probably won't be consequences (but why it's good that she's pursuing consequences anyway).
