This is part 2 of my latest drop here on YouTube,ALL ABOUT AFGHANI PART 2. Afghani is a landrace Indica strain that originated as you might ha e guessed in the middle east o. The boarders of Afghanistan and Pakistan. These genetics have impacted the Medicinal industry far more than any other landrace genetic profile in my opinion. Ofcourse the landrace was carried into the Medicinal industry in the later 90s in California via the black market, as did a majority of Staple genetics.
In this video i took 4 different boxes of strains that I have had dabs of I. The past year that are all derivations of Afghani genetics at some point within 3 generations of the Staple strain. Now to define what I mean, a Staple strain is a strain that a large number of medicinal strains are reliant upon for theirexistence. Girl Scout Cookies, Blueberry, Blackberry and every phenotype and derivation of the above are all reliant on the genetics of Afghani.

I discuss many different variations of strains that come from Afghani, such as Sunset Sherbert, which is a cross of PINK panties and Girl Sckut Cookies, OG KUSH BREATH which is a phenotype of Girl ScoutCookies.
Don't be fooled either, there most certainly are sativa dominant hybrids that come from Afghani lines. These sativa dominant hybrids do tend to lean to the pax.relieving side of the sativa profile usually packing beta caryophyllene in indica levels and sometimes pulling jn linalool as a depressant/ sedative as well. Sativas rend to be uplifting while those deriving from Afghani tend to have an onset that is uplifting then lulls the user down easily.

Much of the reason for potency increasing kn the levels it has and the extent to which it has is directly tied to the ability of growers to move their harvest indoors, which allows for genetic application of natural aspects of the bud. Not modification, as if you follow me you know there is no actual G.M.O. WEED it is a pun. By moving grow operations indoors on the Medicinal Market, strai s became very potent and California was making so much it was impossible not to be leaked into the black market.
On that note it's difficult to keep black market and medicinal cannabis totally seperate even with California's seed to sale system in place, 75% of product on cali shelves are from black market cannabis.
This says both good and bad things. Good as it means industrial quality is possible at home if done right on a much smaller scale. Bad because then bunk most certainly is a downfall of this. Facilities ha e a CONFIRMATION OF ANALYSIS showing any residuals, black market does not and quality control is very little if at all on the black market. Therein lies issues.
