Kevin Harvick has been in the headlines a lot over the last couple of months. Ending a 65-race winless streak at Michigan and following it up with back-to-back wins at Richmond will do that. But Harvick hasn't just let his wins do the talking.

The 2014 Cup Series champion has been very outspoken about safety issues with the Next Gen car. After his car caught on fire last weekend at Darlington, the Stewart-Haas Racing driver was appropriately hot after the race and blasted NASCAR for its incompetence.

This weekend before the race at Kansas, Harvick held court with reporters and continued in his critique of the governing body in a 12-minute long rant that talked about his fire, the overarching concern of NASCAR not addressing safety issues, and what he thinks should be done about it.
