Kevin Harvick has made plenty of headlines this season for both his on-track performance and his outspokenness. Since August, the Stewart-Haas Racing driver has been particularly vocal about the Next Gen car, raising concerns about the car's overall safety and pointing out multiple parts failures.

The 2014 Cup Series champion reached a boiling point and went off at Darlington in September when his car caught on fire, ending his race early and severely hindering his chances of advancing in the playoffs. He's continued to call out the sanctioning body and just a few weeks ago NASCAR nailed the No. 4 team with a major penalty for a violation found during a random inspection at the R&D Center.

This past weekend at Las Vegas, Harvick didn't say anything, but SHR team co-owner Gene Haas did, and revealed that the driver doesn't plan on returning after 2023. While that was a huge bombshell, Haas also surprisingly shared another piece of news regarding a disagreement he currently has with team co-owner Tony Stewart about a driver at SHR, which has understandably only added to the growling list of frustrations the three-time champion has with NASCAR.
