QA1 1965-1972 Ford F100 Front and Rear Coil Over Suspension Street Machine Nationals St. Paul V8TV

We had the opportunity to check out the 1972 Ford F100 pickup modified by QA1 at the 2019 Street Machine Nationals in St. Paul. The truck is now sporting the new QA1 bolt-on front and rear suspension systems designed to provide vastly improved steering response, cornering, and braking, all while offering more attractive wheel size options over a junkyard Ford Crown Victoria suspension swap. The Front Coil-Over Conversion System (Fits 1965-1979 Trucks) features tubular control arms, rack and pinion steering, lowered spindles, and a bolt-in steel crossmember to accommodate a variety of engine and transmission combinations.

- 3.75” narrower than a Crown Vic, so fitment of larger wheels and tires is no longer an issue
- 3-7” drop (3-5" with standard height style spindles, 5-7" with 2" drop spindles)
- 150+ lbs lighter than stock
- Bolt-in tubular design for ease of installation and strength
- Adjustable coil-over shocks to set the ride height and ride quality
- Rack-and-pinion steering

The QA1 Rear Coil-Over Conversion System (Fits 1965-1972 Trucks) is also feature-rich, including:

- Torque arm design maximizes performance while minimizing suspension bind
- 4-7” drop
- Up to 100 lbs lighter than stock
- Bolt-in design with tubular components for ease of installation and strength
- Adjustable coil-over shocks to set the ride height and ride quality
