We Scored FREE Mario Swag from GAMESTOP

Do you know what stores do with swag after a promotion is over? Most times, it winds up in the landfill, but in rare instances they can wind up in personal collections. Thanks to our local Gamestop, we scored some awesome Mario Day swag, let's take a look!

When I first went into my local GameStop around Mario day, they had a lot of really cool things on display. I never asked if I could get anything after a promotion was over, so when I talked to the manager at the store he was super cool about it. there were two blocks at the front of the store, one question block and one regular block, and he held on to both of them for me. there was also signage behind the counter with Mario, Peach, Luigi, Toad, and donkey Kong along with a Mario day logo sign that he let me grab too. The catch? I had to wait until after the promotion was over to be able to get these. Totally cool.

I had also earmarked another sign which was like a silkscreen or a fabric sort of poster. Unfortunately, the store had just had an inventory the week prior and the district manager and regional manager were both there. Bad news for me, one of them grabbed the sign that I wanted.

Even though I missed out on one sign, I have to really thank the store manager of my local GameStop. I know GameStop has a bad reputation, and I've had issues with them myself. But the employees at this store have always taken really good care of me, and I don't think they know that I'm a YouTuber. I appreciate that, they just know that I'm a regular customer.
