"Simply Unbelievable", Resurrection Day 2023, Longbranch Community Church

No sane person doubts the “historicity” of Jesus; there were thousands and thousands of eyewitnesses. But the resurrection? Even though there were over 500 eyewitnesses, well that my friends, stretches the imagination beyond the limits of logical belief – it must, and can only be, a matter of “belief”. Unbelievable, yup. Un-understandable, unthinkable, incomprehensible even, …unless it really was …of God! And if indeed it was of God, the only thing we can logically call it, “…is uncontainable”, which begs the question: What are you going to do about it?

Join in as Longbranch Community Church celebrates Resurrection Day with a several handfuls of new visitors, Ms. Barbara’s beautiful piano accompaniment, wonderful old hymns, gorgeous hand bells, a new church commitment, and afterwards, a refreshingly brisk baptism in the chilly waters of the Puget Sound.

Today’s celebration was special. It was a remarkable combination of beautiful tradition, clear biblical teaching, bare knuckle honesty, gorgeous music, and heartfelt fellowship. Don’t forget Daniel White’s baptism; it added so much to the day.
