DRAW NEARER & HIGHER

DREAM on Sept. 08/22:

I'm in a group of eight people as we enter a large restaurant full of tables. The tables are all full of people and since there are no waiters or waitresses we finally find one empty table at the back beside the kitchen doors. There is just enough room for the eight of us.

It's separated from the others, and we can see that there are bits of food on the table, as well as the floor, especially around the doors to the kitchen.

We take it upon ourselves to clean and wipe our table, and grab our own chairs before we sit down. Once we're seated, we see that there is no more room in the restaurant. We've taken the last table & seats.

While we're seated, I get the itch to look around and explore alone. I go through the doors and discover that behind the large wall is a way to access the upper floor, and other doors too, access that is unseen from the common room.

I can even access the fresh air and beauty of the great outdoors this way, which I do.

*End of dream*

The Lord showed me James 4:8,10…

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

and Matthew 7:7

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

KEY MESSAGES:

**The restaurant is the church where everyone gets fed the Word of God.

**Tables symbolize your personal meeting place with God.

**It's a very good thing to be fed by God's Word, no matter where you sit!

**Sometimes you have to make an *effort* and go out of your way to be with God and read His Word

**If you're not willing to make the effort, you may end up without a seat and it'll be too late because all the tables will be full.

**Cleaning the table is symbolic of humbling yourself before God. You have to be willing to humble yourself if you want a relationship with God.

**Whoever is willing to humble himself the most will have the best access to ministry(the kitchen)

**Don't be satisfied even with a table by the kitchen! Seek more intimacy and seek a higher relationship with the God who made you.

Ask, and He'll give it to you. But you have to humble yourself first.

**8 is the number of new beginnings, like when Noah and his seven other family members entered the Ark. If you're willing to do what it takes, don't be satisfied with a regular table. Always seek to go higher with God.

**Humbling yourself means you'll have to get your hands dirty and there will be challenges, but the end result is promotion and peace and blessing.

Amen!

Always test the spirit behind every prophetic message, take it to the Lord and prayer for confirmation in the word if you feel something applies to you.
