OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE & FIRM FOUNDATION
Dream on Aug. 22, 2022:
I saw people trying to cross the border out of the rigid and drab "Christian Religion" into a beautiful and peaceful meadow with God, where they could camp and rest. A few were successful, but many were caught without proper passports and were therefore unauthorized to cross the border.

The offenders were lined up and forced to climb up a square tower with stairs on the outside of it. I could see that lots of twigs and wood and branches had been thrown into the tower over the years, and the only way to control the pile was to light small fires once in a while. These small fires were the various revivals over the last couple hundred years. By the time we got to the top, I could see that no more small fires were going to be lit. Instead, the next fire was going to be a single large fire, and it was going to happen NOW.

Suddenly they lit the fire and immediately the entire building began to go up in flames. It burned so quickly and fiercely that the building began to crumble and break apart. We were stuck at the top of the building and I knew we were never going to get out unscathed.

Then I was hovering several dozen feet away looking down at the entire scene, and I could see that there was a swimming pool at ground level that could maybe just possibly be a way of escape if one could jump just right. But it looked basically impossible.

In the next scene I suddenly found myself if a completely different environment: treading water in the middle of a stormy sea, with no land in sight. As I moved and swam, I became aware of a hard surface underneath my feet. It arose until it was just under the surface. I was standing on it and it was firm, but I still couldn't see it because the waves were still washing over it. I watched as the platform moved forward and hydrofoiled out of the water to a new visible level. Then I saw that there were four or five other identical platforms all in a row, each rectangular in shape with a post from each corner extending down into the water. I knew that they were connected under the surface. I also knew that I was standing on the nearest platform, but I couldn't actually see myself, I could just see the platform. As I watched, the platforms moved forward again, and hydroplaned even higher. And this time I could see that they were headed towards land in the distance.

*End of dream*

INTERPRETATION:

Always test the spirit behind every prophetic message. IOW, seek the Lord in prayer for confirmation in the Word if you feel something may apply to you. And He may also reveal additional insights to you.

But here are some key messages:

*God wants us to get out of our religious militant comfort zones and get serious about our relationship with Jesus.

*We are not only to worship God in the Word, but also in Spirit (John 4:24).

*Walking in the Spirit and in the love of Christ is what gives us our passports into freedom, joy, peace and rest(always confirmed by the written Word in the Bible).

*If we fail to address or break out of our religious traditions, judgmentalisms, and dogmatisms, we will undergo a baptism by fire that will likely be pretty uncomfortable!

*We cannot save ourselves by jumping into that impossible swimming pool from the top of the burning building. BUT with God, all things are possible! (Matthew 19:26). His love never fails and His mercies will never end, they are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

*When you find yourself in a storm, all you have to do is swim and start moving in the Spirit, and He'll lift you up. He IS your firm foundation(Psalm 18:2).

*As you stay humble with Him, He'll lift you up(James 4:10).

*He'll take you to your own Promised Land that cannot be shaken. Each of us will likely have a "promised land" that looks a bit different from someone else's, depending on where He places you.

Hebrews 12:25-29
25 See that you do not refuse [Jesus] who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven,
26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also heaven.”
27 Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Isaiah 43
1 “Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.
3 For I am the Lord your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior…
16Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea
And a path through the mighty waters,
