UNDERCOVER MISSION: Seven Men Arrested For Lewd Behaviour In Public Park Sting Operation

Authorities in Florida arrested seven men in a two-day undercover operation targeting lewd behaviour in several public parks .

Body-worn footage shows the arrest operation which reportedly took place across Volusia County on the 5th and the 6th of April.

Sheriff's deputies and police collaborated in the operation at various locations following complaints of sexual activity in the parks.

Undercover officers, both in plain clothes and uniform, observed each defendant expose himself and engage in a sex act before being taken into custody.

One of the defendants, Daniel S. Osborne, was found to be on felony probation for attempted first-degree murder.

Another defendant, Scott Downer, had a previous arrest for a similar incident in 2017.

All defendants face criminal charges for exposure of sexual organs and have been issued trespass warnings for the respective parks.

The operation was a joint effort between the East and West Volusia Crime Suppression Teams, Deltona Crime Suppression Team, and the East Volusia Narcotics Task Force.

Authorities plan to conduct similar operations in the future to deter lewd activities in public parks across the county.
