How to Install Volvo Electric Power Steering Pump into Most Cars

In this video I fabricate an electric power steering set up into my 240sx drift car. I hope this video will save you time and money on your power steering solutions on whatever you may be building.
Have you ever had leaking power steering, or a seized power steering pump, or maybe even an engine swap that has no power steering compatibility? Well this video may have the solution to your power steering problem.

TIPS:
1. Make sure when you are ordering your power steering pump that it comes with the wiring pig tails. You might be able to find aftermarket ones, but OEM is best.
2. There are also 2 styles of reservoirs to these pumps. The style in this video has the cap included, but there is another style that has an extension to a separate tank (in place of the cap).
3. If you would like to install this pump onto a different chassis, the main difference will be the rack and pinion adapters, since they need to be specific to the chassis..

I spent the last 7 years building this 1990 Nissan 240sx from the ground up. I swapped out the KA24e for a KA24de. Then once more for a RB25det out of a R34 Skyline and couldn't be happier. I have also converted the 240 to right hand drive, (which ended up saving my life!) After installing a few drift parts; such as a hydro E - Brake, and dual rear calipers, welded diff, solid suspension bushings and more, the car handled amazing. Surprisingly this S13 was able to drift and stay sideways perfectly despite the damage that was done to it.
