My Girlfriend's 240sx Gets Some Love!

My Girlfriend @prizzafranzy is our special guest today as we work on her 240sx project car. She has had her 240sx for about 2 years now and we have been making great progress on it!
The clutch that came with her SR20det swap must have had a very aggressive clutch, because when trying to casually drive, the car would shudder. Very unpleasant driving conditions. Luckily we had the parts already ordered. She bought an OEM spec Exedy clutch and ARP hardware. Upon completion of the clutch replacement, we drive straight to a car meet, where we would finish the final clutch pedal adjustments.

The next day, Franzy was able to test drive her project car with a new clutch installed and was happy with the difference. Then it was time to change out the carpet. In a previous video, I showed a 240sx S13 coupe we found in the junkyard. I grabbed the carpet and HUD clutch from it. So we installed the carpeted into Frans 240sx and tested out the HUD cluster. Unfortunately the cluster did not work and I will have to further diagnose it. But we were able to installed purple LED cluster lights into her original cluster.

After 31 years, the OEM Nissan speakers were toast. It was crazy to see how they were literally turning into dust haha. We only had 2 extra speakers at the time, so we will have to replace the front speakers later.

The interior of her car is really starting to come together and it looks amazing. A quick cleaning and vacuum and it was mint.

She had to take it on a night test drive to really get the feels for those purple cluster lights haha
