Potting Up Tomatoes Eggplant and Bell Peppers

Today I am potting up some of my seedlings; tomatoes, eggplant and bell peppers.

I truly love the process of germinating seeds and then getting them strong enough to put out in the garden.

It is absolutely amazing to me how planting one seed grows a plant that gives you many more seeds to plant....the whole process is so miraculous♥

My passion to learn homesteading comes from my non-profit Cliff’s Story, Inc and the future homestead called “Clifford’s House” in my sons memory. I lost my only son Cliff to suicide in May of 2005. Losing a child affects you in a way that changes who you are forever. It took quite some time, but I eventually understood that my son Cliff was sacrificed so other’s can be healed. Clifford’s House will house 40 young adults, consist of a 40 week program, and will be a place young adults can come and immediately feel the peace on this property where they are understood. They will learn to grow their own food, life skills, get their brain scanned and placed on a holistic protocol to help them cope with any mental health challenges.
