Meek Mill grew up in Philladelphia at the age of 16 he formed a rap group with three friends known as The Bloodhoundz, at 21 he spent just under a year behind bars, he wound up back in prison messing up his probation in 2014.

Robert Rahmeek Williams‪ born May 6, 1987 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He and his sister Nasheema were raised by his single mother Kathy Williams in North Philly. His father was killed when Meek was just five years old, his father figure was his uncle, Philadelphia hip-hop legend DJ Grandmaster Nell.‬
