Before the video went viral, before "Deez Nuts Got-You" became the catchphrase for the summer of 2015, before a young boy decided to run for President under the name Deez Nuts.

When you hear the name or phrase you are likely referring to one of two people – first and foremost there is Vine sensation WelvenDaGreat or Weleven Harris who was recently arrested for sexually assaulting various women.

The other Deez Nutz is 15 year old Brady Olson who adopted the name for his official candidacy run for American President.

First up we need to talk about the term Deez Nuts – it first appeared in Dr. Dre’s the chronic back in 1992.

Deeez Nuuuts is the sixth track which includes a comedy bit from Rudy Ray Moore -- best known called "Chestnuts" that plays on edible nuts versus the scrotal region.

That skit forms the basis of a Warren G's prank call at the beginning of the song, where he rings up a woman to make a "deez nuts" joke at her expense.

This struck a chord with a lot of people and Deez Nuts became a thing, but it wasn’t until Welven brought it back to relevance on Vine and from there it took on

Welven is a young man, presumably in his early 20s, who lives in Compton, California. Welven comes from a loving family; he lives with and was raised by his aunt alongside his cousins. His family has stated that Welevin has always been a hilarious guy since he was a child and always keeps the family laughing. Since Welven’s ‘deez nuts’ video found its way to the internet, he has become an overnight sensation. He has exploded into fame, and his videos have taken over social media.

As for Welven’s appearance this is a disability he has yet to address publically. On April 14th 2015 Welven was arrested for shouting “Who don’t got no b*tches” and then touching women inappropriately. He has since been released on bond.

Moving onto the “Deez Nuts” who entered into the 2016 presidential race, who at one point held 9 percent of voter support in North Carolina. 8% in Minnesota and 7% in Iowa.

This is a 15-year-old from Iowa named Brady Olson, who entered the fictional name as a candidate after submitting paperwork with the Federal Election Commission on July 26, 2015. Which resulted in a newscasters all over America chewing on their words.

The whole thing was a joke at first with Brady egged on by his brother. He hails from a small town with a population of 200 people and he attends local events to show voters that he is taking this somewhat seriously.

Brady Olson can’t actually be president until the 2036 race, as you have to be 35 years old to qualify for office. But he doesn’t know if he’s really interested in becoming a politician. He’s also not a huge fan of the limelight, and has turned down a number of major talk show appearances.
