'Fit and healthy people are dropping with heart problems' - Australian journalist tells live TV he's 'done with COVID vaccines'

Popular Australian television host and Nine Network journalist Karl Stefanovic has shocked his viewers after criticising recent recommendations for a fifth booster of the Covid vaccine live on television.

On Wednesday, the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) released new recommendations for booster vaccinations against Covid-19 for all adult Australians. People over 30 years of age are recommended to receive the fifth vaccination, while those between 18 and 29 years of age should receive the fourth vaccination.

Speaking on the Nine Network's Today breakfast show on Wednesday, Stefanovic, who has been fully vaccinated, said the vaccination could lead to "heart problems".

"As you know, I am not an ardent advocate of more than two vaccinations. I just decided that I have been vaccinated a few times and I am done with vaccinations," Stefanovic said.

Stefanovic is more worried about complications if he gets another dose of the COVID vaccine than he was before the COVID vaccine.

"The other thing I'm worried about is that I might get complications if I get another dose. I've seen all these reports on the internet about fit and healthy people collapsing with heart problems, and it's not clear yet whether the vaccine has caused some of these heart problems or not. But that worries me more than the COVID vaccine," he said.
