"Photonic Barriers" and NVGs #shorts

A "photonic barrier" is a situation in which an IR illumination source or light striking objects close to the NVG user blinds the ability to see beyond it, thus creating a barrier. The solution is to use lased based illuminators that allow you to illuminate past, but not directly onto, objects closer to you.

In this video I am using an @SIONYXnightvision Opsin digital NVG monocle, an Inforce IR light for the flood and a @bemeyerscompany Kiji for the focused laser based IR illumination.
