Only 13 countries recognise Taiwan as a country and most of them are small countries, very small like Belize. The only big country (or bigger) is Paraguay which has a surface of 406000 km2.
The lack of initiative to "not anger" China is seriously BS from the world. Yes, Taiwan was part of China then the communist came and took over China and the democratic forces moved to Taiwan. For this reason Taiwan should be recognised as a country, Internationally. This is seriously BS from the international community.
Taiwan is a peacefull country. And yes, they themselves didnt want to press the issue too much of international recognision SINCE very few countries did! Where are the balls? Fuck those fucking communists from China. Recognise Taiwan as sovereign.
