John 20:4-8 New King James Version
4 So they both ran together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first. 5 And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, 7 and the [a]handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself. 8 Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA DEAR FRIENDS!!!

Guys, I don't know what it is about this particular account of Jesus's resurrection that I really like, but I just love reading it! It may have something to do with Mary Magdalene’s personal encounter with Jesus, or with how Peter and John, go on an adrenaline filled run to the tomb, but I love them all! While John made it first, and Peter went inside to see the proof that was before him, it would be as Arthur Jackson, this morning's devotional writer stated so well, “Though at that juncture theirs wasn't a fully formed faith, they were running in the right direction, and eventually the resurrected Jesus revealed himself to them (VV.19-29).” Warren Wiersbe describes this as a “dawning faith”, and it truly was.

Right now, I'd like to share some things that God put on my heart concerning this morning’s scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you, will encourage you as a believer in Christ, to not only continue to seek after the risen Savior, but also invite those who don't know the risen Savior, to know Him today. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn all about they ran, saw, and believed in the empty tomb! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I'd like to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, And I pray that these questions not only challenge you but get you to think really deeply about what the risen tomb means, and that you will want to share the truth of that with everyone around you.

If you don’t know Jesus, what will you do to begin running toward Him and His love?

If you’re a believer, how will you share His love with others?

I want to encourage all of my brothers and sisters in Christ right now, to ask God every day to help you continue to seek the Risen savior and everything that you say and do. Make him the focus of your daily life, and live your life in such a way, where the world will see Christ Jesus in you. I also reach out to those who do not know Christ, and urge you to come to know the risen savior. Let today be the day that you celebrate the risen savior, by running into his arms of salvation today.
