BEFORE Seth Rogen would receive death threats from North Korea prior to the release of ‘The Interview’.
BEFORE ‘Knocked Up’ would solidify him as a leading man in comedy.
BEFORE he would work as a writer on the ‘Da Ali G Show’.
BEFORE he would hook up with Judd Apatow on ‘Freak and Geeks’, later ‘Undeclared’ and they later took over Hollywood.

Young Seth decided that a career as an actor comedian was the path for him at a young age, he started taking comedy classes when he was 12 and at took the stage at 13. There he would meet life long collaborator Evan Goldberg and they began writing the script back then for ‘Superbad’. He won comedy award in his native Vancouver at 16, around the same time his father lost his job. The family decided to take a risk on their 16 year old son and move to Los Angeles where Seth would pay the family bills as the only one able to working in America.

Seth Rogen was born on April 15, 1982, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His Jewish parents who had met in Israel Sandy a social worked and Mark Rogen who worked for a nonprofit organization; Seth was their second child, with an older sister Dayna.

He went to Vancouver Talmud Torah Elementary School and Point Grey Secondary school. As a small boy he realized he had it in him to make people laugh with his silly jokes and antics. The more he made others laugh, the more he loved it and decided to become a career comedian.

up in a Jewish family, attending Jewish summer camp and hanging out with a ton of other Jewish people – this quickly became the material for Seth’s early comedy. He started taking the stage at Bar Mitsvah’s, soon after he took classes and by 13 was performing on stage.
