BEFORE Oscar Isaac would portray Apocalypse in X-Men Apocolypse.
BEFORE his character Poe Dameron would prove that you don’t need the force to blow up a Death Star.
BEFORE he picked up a Golden Globe Award nomination for Inside Llewyn Davis, and took home a win for HBO mini-series Show Me a Hero.

Oscar’s family made the move from Guatamala to America when he was still in diapers. His father a medical specialist Oscar was enrolled in private school but bad behavior got him explelled. He began to focus his energy on the arts both as an actor and as a musician. While in highschool he found success on his school stage as an actor but even more acclaim as the lead singer and guitarist for a ska-punk band known as the Blinking Underdogs – the even opened for Green Day. But Osar eventually had to decide if it were music or acting that he would pour his heart and soul into and an acceptance letter to Juliard in the Drama Division helped him make up his mind.

Óscar Isaac Hernández Estrada, was born in March 9th 1979 in Guatemalan. His mother, Maria Eugenia Estrada Nicolle from Guatamala, and his Cuban father Óscar Gonzalo Hernández-Cano a pulmonologis.

The family moved to America when he was still a toddler, they first arrived in Baltimore, and then Louisana before settling in Miami, Florida.
