Timesplitters (PS2) Bot Deathmatch Gameplay -No Commentary-

The original Timesplitters was a launch title for the PS2, and it was definitely rushed for the launch as it's a pretty basic game. It's single player mode is basically capture the flag where you have to traverse the levels to pick up an artifact, and to the exit point. However, the multiplayer in the original Timesplitters moves incredibly fast. Timesplitters 2, and Future Perfect are definitely the ones to play, offering a comprehensive single player mode, insane challenge modes, bot deathmatches wit expanded level editors (where you can design single-player levels whereas the original only allows you to create multiplayer maps), and overall surpass the original in every way. That is, except for the incredible speed of the original game.

Most people probably won't find much in the original to like compared to TS2, and FP, but the incredible speed the first game runs at makes the multiplayer matches just slightly more chaotic. The sequels definitely surpass the original in every way, except for the game speed. So I still really enjoy the original, not only because nostalgia, because this was the second PS2 game I ever owned, but I love incredible speed of the game. It feels so smooth to play.
